How do you preserve your food products?

As you could expect, McDonald's U.K. has a very fast turnover of food, and our restaurants receive three to five deliveries a week. Food arrives frozen, chilled or ambient, just like your food shopping at home, and the majority of the food is preserved by freezing. Other food, like our delicious sauces, are pasteurised and specially packed to reduce the need for preservatives.
